is a face-on spiral galaxy distanced 21 million light-years (six megaparsecs) away from Earth in the constellation Ursa Major. M101 is a large galaxy, with a diameter of 170,000 light-years. By comparison, the Milky Way has a diameter of 100,000 light years. It has around a trillion stars, twice the number in the Milky Way.
Also known as Caldwell 14 or open clusters NGC 869 and NGC 884, ( often designated h Persei and χ Persei, respectively), which are close together in the constellation Perseus. Both visible with the naked eye, NGC 869 and NGC 884 lie at a distance of 7,500 light years.
Is a double star designated Beta Cygni (β Cygni, abbreviated Beta Cyg, β Cyg). Beta Cygni is about 415 light-years (127 pc) away from the Sun.
Is a spiral galaxy 2.73 million light-years (ly) from Earth in the constellation Triangulum. It is catalogued as Messier 33 or NGC 598.
This is my first photographic attempt to M81. I’ve collected a lot of photographic material (about 10 hours) but also a lot of it I had to removed due to windy nights and after the first pre-selection I had about 8 hours of photographic material. At the stage of stacking, another 30% had to remove of material remaining based on quality algorithm, which I finally stack together.

At some point while using the controller, I noticed that the ESC button wasn’t always working. I lived with it, but after a while, the left Ra button also started acting up and wouldn’t always connect. A red flag went up in my head – something needed to be done. It’s worth noting that the problems appeared right after the warranty period ended… coincidence?
The GOTO controller is extremely convenient and practical to use, when you want to look at interesting night sky objects, with your own eye through the eyepiece mounted in the telescope’s focuser. The ability to quickly select an object using the GOTO controller, is invaluable.
