Farewell to Orion – my colours interpretations.

Winter is practically gone. Orion is almost no longer visible at night. We’ll see him again in late autumn. It will again become one of the most interesting places in the night sky to photograph.

constellation of Scorpius. Its name derives from the vague resemblance of its shape to a butterfly.

Veil Nebula (NGC 6950)

Is a cloud of heated and ionized gas and dust in the constellation Cygnus. It constitutes the visible portions of the Cygnus Loop a supernova remnant. The source supernova was a star 20 times more massive than the Sun, and it exploded around 21,000 years ago.

The Andromeda Galaxy, also known as M31, or NGC 224 and originally the Andromeda Nebula (see below), is a spiral galaxy approximately 2.5 million light-years from Earth, and the nearest major galaxy to the Milky Way. The galaxy’s name stems from the area of the Earth’s sky in which it appears, the constellation of Andromeda.
