This is the last photo material of the Northern Lights that I wanted to publish, from my last year’s visit to Iceland in the company of a great group of people and PTMA.
The publication chapter for Iceland has been closed. I think, now I have a reason to go back there to collect new lights.
These are the last photos of the northern lights, which I was able to photograph during the trip to Iceland from September 2019.
During last nights I’ve took these photos I slept very little. The quantity as well as the scope of the performance that was taking place above my head, beat all the previous ones I’ve seen so far.

Island – Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) – The great expeditions with PTMA (September 2019)
In September this year I was in Iceland with PTMA. In fact, we went around the whole island but that evening I had a strong in my memory the sunset in the port of Skagastrond. It was so beautiful that I forgot to capture the whole event on camera. Before I knew it, it was already after sunset, the only thing I could capture were the clouds lazily creeping at dusk.

At some point while using the controller, I noticed that the ESC button wasn’t always working. I lived with it, but after a while, the left Ra button also started acting up and wouldn’t always connect. A red flag went up in my head – something needed to be done. It’s worth noting that the problems appeared right after the warranty period ended… coincidence?
The GOTO controller is extremely convenient and practical to use, when you want to look at interesting night sky objects, with your own eye through the eyepiece mounted in the telescope’s focuser. The ability to quickly select an object using the GOTO controller, is invaluable.
